WHAT IS CORNERSTONE?
The Cornerstone Club is a voluntary organization comprised of individuals who share a common commitment to the election of
a Progressive Conservative Government in Ontario. Many members demonstrate their continued support for the aims and
principles of the Party through volunteer political work, as well as making a significant annual financial contribution to the PC Ontario Fund.
The Cornerstone Club provides a unique opportunity for involvement by donors who want to take a more active role in support of the democratic political process, have an interest in public policy and want to help build a better tomorrow for our province and country.
Membership in The Cornerstone Club is open to individuals giving an annual minimum membership donation of $500 to the PC Ontario Fund. Members are encouraged to participate in a range of Cornerstone activities at intervals throughout the year including opportunities to meet and talk with the Leader and members of his Caucus at the annual cornerstone Club conference.
PROVINCIAL POLITICAL DONATIONS
During any year corporations or individuals may donate a total of $14,000 to the Ontario PC Party. By-elections increase this amount to $ 23,520 and during general election year overall contributions by corporations or individuals may total up to $ 28,000.
PERSONAL TAX CREDITS
Personal tax credit calculation: 75% of the first $336 plus 50% of the amount between $336 and $1120 plus 331/3% of the amount between $1120 and $2548.The maximum personal tax credit is $1120.

BUSINESS TAX CREDITS
Corporations making political contributions can deduct up to a maximum of $16,800 from the Ontario portion of their taxable income in any fiscal period.
Note: The portion of donations over the central party limit will be distributed by the party to riding
associations and/or registered candidates.
*Donations to special events are receipted less expenses.
