Hundreds of fed-up Ontario families protested against Dalton McGuinty’s endless tax hikes today at Nathan Phillips Square, just outside the Liberal Party’s Annual General Meeting in a nearby hotel.
Families from as far away as London, Windsor, Ottawa, and Northern Ontario came to Toronto to make their voices heard by a tired, out-of-touch Dalton McGuinty. After promising not to raise our taxes, Dalton McGuinty broke his word and hit hard-working families with the biggest income tax hike (the Health Premium) and the biggest sales tax hike (the HST) in our province’s history, and tried to sneak in a secret eco-tax.
In less than a year, Ontario families will have a clear choice between an out of touch, promise-breaking and tax hiking Dalton McGuinty, or a Tim Hudak-led PC Government that will keep its promises, provide real tax relief, and give families a much-needed chance to catch up.
