NEWS:

QUEEN’S PARK — A day after his first fact finding mission to the Mississauga Power Plant, newly appointed Ontario PC Energy Critic Vic Fedeli is calling on Dalton McGuinty to immediately tear down this plant. Despite promising 54 days ago to scrap the plant in Mississauga, construction continues and the bill for Ontario families keeps climbing.

Standing in front of the massive structure yesterday, Fedeli spoke with local residents who are outraged that construction is continuing. Local residents expressed to Fedeli their frustration that Dalton McGuinty would promise them one thing during the campaign and refuse to follow through on his promise after the election.

While Fedeli was in Mississauga, Dalton McGuinty’s Minister of Energy, Chris Bentley, again dodged repeated questions on why construction is continuing. In the last two weeks Bentley has been asked 19 questions on the Mississauga Power Plant and dodged every single one of them.
