Statement by Tim Hudak on Rosh Hashanah
16 September 2012
Shanatova!
Over the next two days, Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated around the world.
Here in Ontario, our province is the proud home to a strong and tightly-knit Jewish community. One of the wonderful aspects of Rosh Hashanah is the fact it encourages the community to become even closer. It’s a time to pause during hectic lives to spend time with family, friends and neighbours and to reconnect with the faith.
The call of the shofar reminds us that Rosh Hashanah is also a time of reflection. A time when we look at the year gone by, and a time to look forward to the possibilities the New Year brings with hope and promise.
So to everyone celebrating these High Holy Days, on behalf of the entire Ontario PC Caucus, I wish you and your family L’shanah tova u’metuka!
Sincerely,
Tim Hudak, MPP
Ontario PC Leader
