KITCHENER – Today, Ontario PC Leader Tim Hudak was at the Kitchener-Waterloo Gaming Centre, to unveil Dalton “The Tax Man” McGuinty’s Wheel of Tax, and invited contestants to spin the wheel predicting what the Tax Man’s next tax increase will be. Contestants walked away with prizes, and a better idea of the new taxes to come with a Dalton McGuinty government. Hudak was joined by the Ontario PC candidate for Kitchener-Conestoga, Michael Harris, Ontario PC candidate for Kitchener Centre, Dave MacDonald, and MPP for Kitchener-Waterloo, Elizabeth Witmer, as well as Scott and Monica Hyslop, and their three young daughters Colleen (9), Erin (7), and Keira (5).
In each of the last two elections, the Tax Man has solemnly vowed not to raise taxes, only to break his promise with sneaky eco-taxes, the health tax, and the HST tax grab, among others. Dalton McGuinty and his Ministers have since dropped hints that a massive new carbon tax at a cost of over $500 per household per year might be next for Ontario families.
Families cannot afford to find out what tax grab will be next if Dalton McGuinty is re-elected. They deserve the relief and new jobs that only a Tim Hudak government can provide through lowering income taxes, removing the HST from hydro and home heating bills and scrapping eco-taxes.
“Like any true tax master, Dalton McGuinty will never reveal his secrets. But a 2-point HST hike, new eco-taxes, and even a carbon tax cannot be ruled out of the Tax Man’s plans.”

“Ontario families have been clear: it’s time to stop the Wheel of Tax once and for all.”
